Certificate Program

The California State University, East Bay Multimedia Design Certificate gives creative professionals and hobbyists the expertise they need to build a variety of multimedia interfaces, applications, environments and experiences.

Through course projects that involve animation and Web site design, video and sound editing, storyboarding, retouching, compositing, basic Action-Scripting, motion graphics production and interface design, Cal State East Bay's program provides students a comprehensive conceptual and technical education. Those who take advantage of the program will become proficient users of common digital imaging and media production tools like Adobe Photoshop, Macromedia Flash and Apple Final Cut Pro.

Offered in partnership with Gatlin Education Services, the course's online-only format makes it convenient for people anywhere in the world, not just those who live or work in the San Francisco East Bay Area.
