Higher Education Leadership and Management

Certificate Program

The California State University, East Bay Higher Education Leadership and Management interactive, online certificate program is designed to present students with the knowledge, skills, and abilities for academic administrative positions. Students will learn organization and management, policy and governance, institutional planning and change, program review, the role of technology, and human resource management.

The program is open to all who hold a bachelor's degree and can be completed in 2 quarters. To earn the certificate students are required to complete all three graduate-level courses in sequential order. See the curriculum page for course descriptions.
